Ingredients
¼cupraw cashew butterI use Artisana Organics
¼cuphoneyI use local raw
1Tablespoonpumpkin puree
¼teaspoonpumpkin pie spice
¼teaspoonvanilla extract
1pinchsea salt
2-3eachapplesany kinds you like!
Instructions
Add the cashew butter and honey to a small bowl and mix until fully mixed together
Add all other ingredients and mix well until fully combined and smooth
Cut 2-3 apples to serve caramel with and (optional) spritz with lemon juice so they don't brown. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator
Notes
The absolute best tasting and smoothest cashew butter I have found is the Artisana Organics brand. Note that if you use a different brand, or make your own it can change the consistency of the caramel.
You can store the caramel in the fridge with no issues. Serve straight from the fridge or at room temperature.
